'Hello Sailor' was a saucy exploration into further Victorian tattoo based works for the Ruthin Craft Centre exhibition having already promised the Liberty Lighthouse of Love. This showcase of contemporary embroidered artworks by a group of prominent embroidery artists from around the UK was a fun and witty exhibition and hopefully the sultry mermaids had a good time.
This piece was quite different to other recent work in its cheeky nature but reminiscent of the saucy Lighthouse which went down a storm at Liberty.
Sold at 'The Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair 2016.
